550000 Mac under threat with new Trojan.

A whopping 5,50,000 Mac OS got infected with a new computer Trojan and many are still vulnerable.
The infected machines became a play toy for the online hackers who could now have control via internet and thus more malicious softwares were spread.

These attacks were mainly reported in United States and Canada.

Known as Flashback.39 Trojan, this virus infects the systems after the user visits the websites containing the trojan and then the whole process takes place silently in the background.

All this was discovered by a Russian based antivirus maker Doctor Web, who even stated
“This once again refutes claims by some experts that there are no cyber-threats to Mac OS X“.

The whole problem revolves around JAVA, as any download from the external source could leave your security vulnerable.
